With stage presence and yet intimate interaction with the audience as she sang all of the songs of her career and a few new ones. No one can sing “New York, New York” or “Life is a Cabaret” like Liza Minelli and her musical story telling is enjoyable and when she sings “What Makes A Man A Man” it is quite moving.

This show is most enjoyable with live singing and well choreographed dance routines of the sexy girls of the brothel and the Aggie boy patrons as well as a few dignitaries from the sheriff to the senator and a frequent visit from a do-gooder television commentator who wants to close it down.

The mix of music, dancing, humor, singing and the whole production of the show make this a fun show while visiting the downtown Fremont Street area.

I met with many of the performers after the show and they are like one big family; their bond shows through in their performance well done at the Plaza each evening. It’s a great production that I could see over and over again.

(PRVegas)  The UK boy band group One Direction will tour the states for a 25 date trek to New York, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Seattle and other major cities.

One Direction has announced they will perform at the Planet Hollywood Theater Of The Performing Arts on June 9th 2012 and then return again for their 2013 tour at the Mandalay Bay – Events Center on August 2, 2013.

After dropping their chart-topping album, Up All Night, in March, 1D plan to release a DVD, aptly titled “Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD,” on May 29, which will include concert footage, behind-the-scenes goodies and a music video.

The moment he appears on stage from his dangerous daring illusions to audience participation acts his entire show is entertainment for the entire family right down to his charming German accent. Between acts the dancers entertain you with well choreographed dance numbers to keep the energy going and add a nice touch to a well polished show as you wait for the next amazing illusion.

This is a show you can recommend to your friends and family as being a clean, fun, high energy magic show and at times will have you on the edge of your seat. Lots of amazing illusions that make you wonder “How did he do that?” You walk out knowing you had value for the dollar. I met with Jan after the show and he is a very down to earth, very charming entertainer. You can get his autograph or have your photo taken right after the show and create a memory your family will be talking about long after the show ends. I loved the the puzzle analogy at the end of the show and you will too.

I see Jan Rouven becoming a major headliner on the strip and moving to a much larger showroom so catch his act now while tickets are affordable and easy to get and in a more intimate venue.

I met up with him after the show and had to welcome him to Las Vegas as he has a great voice and lends a unique addition to the show finishing it off with an actual country artist singing his new single and other songs from Lone Star.
